Key features
Automatic archiving
The system backs up new studies every day on its own: it groups them into batches and burns them to media — using the server's drive or robotic burners that also print labels. Each medium gets a unique ID stored with the study, so you always know where a study is. The oldest images are removed from the server automatically while studies remain available off-line.
NAS storage support
External NAS arrays can be attached at any time to increase archive capacity and the number of studies available on-line.
Autorouting
New studies from modalities (CT, MR, X-ray…) are sent automatically to the right reading workstations, so radiologists don't wait for downloads — especially valuable for large CT, MR, angiography and ultrasound studies.
Access control
Workstation access can be limited to selected study types — e.g. room 1 sees only CT and MR, room 2 only CR.
Graphical administration
Quickly register a new modality or workstation, check disk usage and archiving status, and change autorouting rules.
CD/DVD duplicator support
Connect robotic disc publishers to burn studies for patients.
Multi-server operation
With many modalities and users, the system can run on several servers at once, spreading the load and greatly speeding up image transfer.
